Meet the maker

Hello! I am Robin from Turas Leather, and I've taught myself the art of leathercraft right here in the rolling hills of Wicklow, Ireland. My journey into leatherwork is driven by a profound respect for the rich heritage of traditional crafts in Ireland.

Back in 2018, I took my first steps into this world by enrolling in a leatherworking course in Dublin. Since then, I've been on a continuous journey of creation and design, crafting various leather pieces that span from belts and wallets to purses, bracelets, and watch straps.

Nowadays, I operate out of my workshop in Wicklow, where I manage an online store and also set up shop at local markets. I'm all about using top-notch materials, so I source high-quality full grain leather from some of the finest tanneries across the globe. From designing to cutting, hand-stitching to edging, I'm hands-on through every step of the process.

What sets my work apart is its durability and character. My creations are built to last a lifetime and gather stories as they age alongside their owners.
