Beginners classes will consist of making a leather key ring and a passport wallet. This will give a good basic understanding of the tools and techniques in making small leather goods.
Intermediate classes will Involve making a willow card wallet with a custom tooled front and a full grain veg tan belt. The willow card wallet will give an understanding of building more complex and functional leather wallets. For the custom tooled front we will be using new tools and techniques to carve and bevel basic images on to veg tan leather.

I looked for a long time for a quality minimal front-pocket wallet that was made well with quality materials, but specifically didn’t want something made from metal like so many in this category are. When I found this wallet, I ordered it immediately and could hardly wait for it to arrive. When it did, it was exactly what I was looking for! So slim, I forget that it is in my front pocket. Nice leather, I don’t think twice about putting my phone in the same pocket. Highly recommend this wallet! The tobacco color is so nice!

I came across this wallet in a video by Walletopia and I really liked it at first sight. So I ordered it and held it in my hands after a while: In a nutshell: It really is a beautiful wallet with great leather, super intense leather smell (I really like it). The card slot can hold a maximum of 3 cards, but you can also put the rest behind it, even if I would like it a little differently in this case. But to summarize: very satisfied. Thanks for the speedy delivery.

From the first correspondence with Robin%2C he was extremely helpful with regards to questions on colour and design. After ordering%2C the wallet arrived within the time period given. The wallet is great quality and a really functional minimalist design. The cards were tight to get in and out initially but the leather soon stretched to make this much easier without losing security. Overall I’m extremely happy with this wallet and even more due to the fact that it is such a unique item that isn’t mass produced.

The leather is second to none; beautiful grain, excellent stitching. Minor issue with the clasp was sorted extremely quickly by Turas - exceptional customer service. I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend.
This was an unexpected gift which turned out to be an unexpected pleasure and a good laugh. Robin is very knowledgeable. He's generous with that knowledge and communicated all the techniques clearly. It was a fun and relaxing but also productive day - we all left with a really good quality robust but elegant passport holder. I'm looking forward to level 2. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Oh, and the Turquoise Cafe serves really tasty food and good coffee.
